Naale Elite Academy is a program completely funded by the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency. Naale provides motivated Jewish students worldwide with the opportunity to attend high school in Israel, beginning in 9th or 10th grade. Supervised by the Israeli Ministry of Education, all Naale students receive a package of benefits that includes a flight to Israel, full board, health care, tuition, sightseeing tours, and even pocket money.
Since 1992, more than 16,000 select high school students from the United States, Europe, South America, and South Africa have been given the opportunity to fulfil their dream of attending high school in Israel, through the Elite Academy Program.
There are currently 1,600 students from around the world participating in Naale.
American Naale students choose to study in one of six Naale affiliated boarding schools located thoroughout Israel that differ by level of observation and specialties. The programs are offered in English, but Hebrew is taught extensively through the first year. Upon completion, students receive an Israeli high school diploma and matriculation certificate, recognized by top universities worldwide.
Recently, Naale held a two-day screening at ETZ Jacob Hebrew Academy, LA. Isabella Jost (14) from Arizona, is one of Naale’s candidates. Isabelle studies in Phoenix Country Day School and said: “I have loved Israel since the day I first came to visit in the summer of 2014. I was looking online for schools in Israel this year and I found the Naale Elite program. I researched it and decided I wanted to apply.”
Isabella described her experience about the screening: “I was very nervous at the start but when I met the other kids applying, I realized I was in the same boat. After that I calmed down and relaxed. I was still a bit nervous but excited.”
