PJ Our Way Book Club

Join fellow PJ Our Way kids ages 9-12 for PJ Our Way book club! The PJ Our Way book club will be a recurring monthly event on the third Sunday.
The book for April is “Wishtree” by Katherine Applegate.
Each child will receive a free book copy (1 per participating kid!). Together, we’ll enjoy activities, conversation, and snacks all themed around our book!
There is no cost to attend; we ask accompanying parents to be present (no drop-offs).

CSP: Jewish Art Restitution Today, a Case Study
During the last two decades there has been a growing determination to restore works of art that were plundered by the Nazis during WWII. This lecture will examine the possible reasons for this shift in awareness, based on Sophia’s personal experience and research in connection with the remarkable case of the restitution of the painting by Jozef Israëls (Dutch, 1824–1911) titled From Darkness to Light. see article.

The Roaring ‘20s & ‘30s Prince of Egypt Screening
The Roaring ‘20s and ‘30s (R23) is aimed at bringing together Jewish people in their 20’s and 30’s in Orange County, California. It is welcoming to anyone who defines themselves as “Jew-ish,” including matrilineal or patrilineal Jews, potential Jews by choice, and those with a Jewish partner.
Its partnered with Temple Beth El of South Orange County but are NOT exclusive to members. Whether you are an observant, spiritual, or cultural Jew, come find your community!
