CSP – The Future is Peace

Following the success of their New York Times bestselling book The Future is Peace and their recent appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, join internationally recognized peacebuilders, TED speakers, and entrepreneurs Maoz Inon and Aziz Abu Sarah for a powerful conversation about courage, reconciliation, and creating bridges in deeply divided times. Drawing on their personal journeys and groundbreaking work building connections across the Middle East, Maoz and Aziz will explore how grief can become a catalyst for change, how unlikely coalitions are formed, and how a shared commitment to hope can be transformed into meaningful action.

JFedOC Leadership Initiative Alumni Summer Social

The Leadership Initiative is designed to cultivate lay leaders within the Orange County Jewish community—individuals who are ready to step forward with purpose, confidence, and a commitment to collective responsibility. Grounded in Jewish values and informed by the realities of today’s communal landscape, the program supports emerging leaders in strengthening their leadership identity, deepening their knowledge of the Jewish nonprofit ecosystem, and building a trusted network of peers.

Through a combination of cohort-based learning, skill-building workshops, community exposure, and reflection, participants will explore what it means to lead with curiosity, presence, and care. The program explores both the practical and philosophical dimensions of communal leadership, helping participants understand not only how to lead, but why leadership matters.

The Leadership Initiative is offered at no cost to participants, our investment in the future of Jewish leadership in Orange County and is partially funded by a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County.

Applications and recommendations for Cohort II are due August 7, 2026 at 5 p.m.
