CSP -How Sid Caesar Reinvented American Comedy
Join us for a fascinating conversation with David Margolick, an acclaimed journalist and cultural historian, as he reflects on his remarkable career and introduces his latest book, When Caesar Was King: How Sid Caesar Reinvented American Comedy. Margolick spent years writing for The New York Times, including covering major legal affairs such as the O.J. Simpson trial, and continues today as a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. A four-time Pulitzer Prize nominee, he is the author of numerous celebrated books that explore the currents of American culture and public life. His newest work is a true passion project: a deep, affectionate portrait of Sid Caesar, brought to life through interviews with many of America’s most influential comedians, all of whom trace their creative DNA back to Caesar’s groundbreaking impact on comedy.

Women’s VOICES
When Jewish women stand together, we change lives.
Please join us for VOICES, the signature Women’s Philanthropy event of Jewish Federation of Orange County.
This year, we are honored to welcome Rachel Goldberg-Polin for a powerful conversation about resilience, hope, and the strength we find in one another, moderated by Jacki Karsh.     We will also celebrate our 2026 Woman of the Year, Judy Binder, whose leadership and commitment to Jewish life inspire our entire community.  Throughout the evening, award-winning singer and educator Neshama Carlebach will join us as our guest artist, bringing music rooted in hope and unity – including a moving song she wrote in honor of the Polin family, titled “Hold the Stars.”
Together, we will celebrate the collective impact of women across Orange County and raise essential funds to strengthen Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world.
We look forward to standing together with you at VOICES 2026.Everyone is welcome!
