Jewish New Year Service & Celebration
Heritage Pointe and Alzheimer’s Orange County invite you to a specially adapted High Holy Days service, designed for people coping with memory loss & dementia, to attend with their families.
• This 30-minute program, led by Heritage Pointe’s Rabbi Karen Sherman and other local clergy, will take place on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
• Join in community as the familiar prayers and melodies from our sacred High Holy Days ignite our memories and touch our souls.
• Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Service will be followed by a light breakfast buffet.

Beth David Young Professionals, Scotch & Schnapps in the Sukkah
Join Beth David Young Professionals (20’s-30’s) and the Beth David congregation for a special Sukkot celebration. There will be a variety of scotch and schnapps to taste as well as other non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Join us at 7:30 to attend the Shabbat service. Join at 8:45 PM if you want to attend the tasting only.

Join the JNF-USA for the Love Of Israel Brunch on Nov 3 in Costa Mesa, CA, featuring Avi Mayer, former Editor-in-Chief of The Jerusalem Post. It will be focusing on and acknowledging JNF-USA’s comprehensive and bold strategic initiative to rebuild communities in the Israel envelope and Northern communities. Avi will be speaking about The Promise of Israel: How Zionism Will Secure the Jewish Future and we will commemorate and memorialize the one-year anniversary of Oct 7.
