Passover at Congregation B’nai Israel

For many Jews, Passover is the most beloved holiday in the Jewish calendar, a time to celebrate freedom, to savor special foods, and to enjoy the home theater of the seder in the company of family and friends. At Congregation B’nai Israel, you can enhance and extend your home observances by participating in special prayer services followed by kosher meals, and by joining a community seder.

Tuesday, April 15 @ 6:30 pm; mincha service at 6:00 pm

Passover Services, Day Two
Wednesday, April 16 @ 9:30 am, followed by lunch

Shabbat Chol Hamoed Service including reading of Song of Songs
Saturday, April 19 @ 9:30 am, followed by lunch

Passover Services, Day 7: Shirat hayam (Song of the Sea)
Monday, April 21 @ 9:30 am followed by lunch

Passover Services, Day 8
Tuesday, April 22 Passover Yizkor Service @ 9:30 am followed by lunch

for adults; $30/member,  $40/ nonmember for children; $15 for children 3-5 years; under 2 free.

Passover at Chabad Jewish Center of Mission Viejo

Passover Seder at University Synagogue

Friday, April 18, at 6 p.m.

Join Rabbi Rachlis, Cantor Braier, the University Synagogue Family and special guests Moses and Elijah for this very special evening.

The Seder is for all ages for congregants and the public!

Dinner

~ Children 5-12: $27

~ Children under 5: free

~ Non-members: $59

Catered by Chef Molly Culinary Artistry

Menu: A sit down Kosher for Passover dinner with gefilte fish, chicken matzah ball soup, chicken with roasted red wine figs and oranges, glazed carrots, rosemary scented pomme puree, Passover honey cake and raspberry sorbet.

Children’s menu: chicken breast with fresh tomato sauce, whipped potatoes and steamed broccoli.
