Temple Beth El of South Orange County’s 5th Annual Virtual Meditation Retreat

Imagine yourself in your own sacred space delving deeper into the mind, body and spirit on a journey with the divine presence. Rabbi K’vod Wieder of Temple Beth El of South Orange County led a group of more than 40 meditators at the 5th Annual Virtual Meditation Retreat on February 7th. The theme this year was Awakening to Sacred Presence, Noticing the Deeper Nature of our Present Moment. The day began by setting our intention and by cultivating an attitude of being present. Each meditation flowed and focused on one the four dimensions of rootedness, openness, awareness and holiness. Meditators were treated to a yoga session by Ilana Rogel-Wieder which brought strength and energy through every fluid movement. The day concluded with an opportunity for questions and discussion and a final meditation. In a world with so many distractions it was a blessing to have the opportunity to create a space to be connected in community and awakened to the sacred presence.
Rabbi K’vod leads a weekly meditation every Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. TBESOC’s next Meditation Retreat will be held on February 4-6, 2022.  Please visit tbesoc.org for more information.
