Orange County Celebrates Israel at 78
On May 3rd, the spirit of Israel filled Orange County as more than 2,000 community members came together to celebrate Israel’s 78th Independence Day. What we experienced was much more than just an event, it was a true community celebration filled with energy, connection, pride, music, food, dancing, and people simply happy to be together.
From the colorful Israeli Shuk, authentic food, and live music, to the kids’ activities, dancing, Beer Garden, and Parade of Flags, every part of the festival reflected the strength and warmth of our community. The atmosphere throughout the day was full of joy, unity, and incredible Israeli vibes.
But what made this event truly special was the people behind it.
This celebration happened because so many people stepped in to help, support, promote, volunteer, sponsor, organize, and show up for one another. It was a true team effort.
To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours before, during, and after the event. Your dedication, energy, and willingness to help with everything big and small made this day possible.
To our sponsors, partners, organizations, and vendors, thank you for believing in the importance of building strong Jewish and Israeli community life here in Orange County. Your support helped turn an idea into a major community celebration.
To the many organizations and community members who shared the event, invited friends, spread the word, and encouraged others to come, thank you. Community events only grow when people choose to support each other, and this event showed exactly what can happen when everyone gives a hand.
And of course, thank you to every family, teen, child, parent, and guest who came and brought their energy and spirit with them.
A very special thank you goes to our incredible sponsors whose generosity and commitment made this beautiful day possible. We are profoundly grateful for the vital support of TVT Community Day School, Jewish Community Foundation Orange County, Holocaust Museum OC, University Synagogue Preschool, Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot, Smart.Exe, Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI), SoCal Flooring and Construction, The Shoreline Church, ADL Orange County/Long Beach, Irvine Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, SunSolar US, JCAN, RMO Agency, the Samueli Foundation, Israel Global Foundation, The Hebrew Academy, The Hillel Foundation of Orange County, Orange Optical Inc., Foundation for Jewish Camp, Marigold Financial Partners, ICON Bank, and Mestman For Judge 2026. We are incredibly proud of what we built together this year, and we hope next year will be even bigger, even stronger, and continue to reflect the amazing community we are building here in Orange County.
