It is with great pleasure that I share with you that Jewish Federation of Orange County has recently welcomed Scott Kaufman to serve as interim CEO and Transition Team Lead for the organization for an interim period until a permanent CEO can be hired. Scott is an experienced former CEO of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. He recently served in a similar interim capacity for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and is Board Chair of Leading Edge, a prestigious nonprofit consulting organization. Scott will provide JFOC with operational oversight and strategic guidance, and will assist in the implementation of financial best practices and the CEO search.
The continued support we receive from many incredible Jewish Federation of North America professionals during this transition has benefited us in many ways – Scott’s involvement being just one of them.
